What touch screen sizes are available?
The current touch-display portfolio covers approximately 4.3 to 75 inches across different product families. Availability, aspect ratio, active area and customization depend on the selected sensor, LCD, cover glass and final project requirements.
What materials are used in the touch sensor stack?
Common structures include G+G, G+F and G+FF, depending on the mechanical, optical and cost requirements. Cover-glass treatment, sensor construction and bonding should be selected for the final application rather than by structure name alone.
What information should be prepared before requesting a quote?
Provide the display size, active and visible areas, outer dimensions, interface, controller or motherboard, cover-glass drawing, bonding method, mounting structure, operating environment and estimated quantity. These details help engineering identify the correct product level and review risks early.

PCAP engineeringHow does water affect a PCAP touchscreen in outdoor or wash-down applications?
Ingress sealing does not automatically provide stable wet-touch behavior. Surface water, trapped water, drainage, bezel geometry, coatings, grounding and controller tuning must be considered together for rain, wash-down or wet-finger operation.
PCAP engineeringCan an LCD interfere with a PCAP touchscreen?
Yes. LCD panels and driving electronics can introduce noise that causes unstable points, broken response or ghost touches. Distance, grounding, insulation, controller tuning and the full assembled system determine the actual result.
Can a PCAP touchscreen operate with gloves?
Many PCAP projects can support glove input, but the result depends on glove material and thickness, cover glass, sensor design, controller settings and the final electrical environment. Glove performance should be defined and tested with the intended system.
How should operating temperature requirements be evaluated?
Temperature capability must be confirmed for the complete product configuration, not assumed from one component. Define the operating and storage environment, then validate the LCD, touch controller, bonding, cables, enclosure and power design together.

PCAP engineeringHow should a PCAP touchscreen be grounded with the LCD and touch controller?
The LCD metal frame, touch controller and LCD driver board generally need a stable common-ground strategy. The actual connection method depends on the final enclosure, board layout and mechanical design and must be validated after assembly.
PCAP engineeringHow should the touchscreen FPC be routed to avoid interference?
Fix the FPC, avoid high-frequency signal and main power areas, prevent repeated movement, and do not use sharp folds. Cable routing and its relationship with nearby metal should be reviewed during the mechanical design stage.
PCAP engineeringCan a metal bezel interfere with PCAP touchscreen performance?
Yes. Metal close to the sensing area can change capacitive behavior, particularly near screen edges. Bezel geometry, grounding, sensor boundaries and cover glass should be evaluated together in the production-representative enclosure.
PCAP engineeringHow much air gap is recommended between a PCAP touchscreen and LCD?
For an air-gap or frame-bonded structure, more than approximately 1 mm is a practical engineering reference, not a universal standard. The insulating frame material, LCD noise, controller and complete mechanical stack still require validation.
Can EverGlory customize a PCAP touch panel or display module?
Yes. Project-dependent options can include cover-glass outline and printing, sensor size, FPC direction, connector, controller, surface treatment, touch interface, LCD selection and bonding. Final feasibility is confirmed against the drawing and complete-system requirements.
Can a touchscreen be integrated behind acrylic or another front material?
It can be possible if the material, thickness, flatness, optical condition and temperature behavior are suitable for the sensor and controller. The complete stack should be reviewed and tested because an extra front layer changes touch sensitivity and mechanical tolerances.

Which operating systems can be used with the touchscreen?
Windows, Linux and Android are common host platforms for PCAP projects. Actual compatibility depends on the controller, interface, required touch points, kernel or driver support and the customer motherboard, so the final combination should be confirmed before release.
Do USB touch controllers support hot-plugging?
Many USB HID touch-controller configurations support hot-plug operation, but it should be checked with the selected controller, cable, operating system and motherboard. Production validation should include reconnection, restart and power-sequence behavior.
How many touch points can a PCAP touchscreen support?
Multi-touch capability depends on the sensor, controller, interface and host operating system. Up to ten touch points is common for suitable PCAP configurations, but the required touch count should be defined and verified in the final system.

Yes. Incoming sensor inspection should be followed by an assembled Sensor Test, functional test, tuning and pilot validation. This confirms that the LCD, enclosure, grounding, power and cable routing work as a complete system.
PCAP engineeringShould the touchscreen be retested if the motherboard changes?
Yes. A new motherboard can change grounding, power behavior, electrical noise and EMI conditions even if the LCD and touchscreen stay the same. Repeat the Sensor Test and controller review before mass production.
How does EverGlory control touch-display quality?
The control plan can include incoming inspection, Sensor Test, in-process checks, assembled functional testing, drawing and configuration control, pilot validation and production traceability. The exact acceptance items should be defined for each project.
What is the correct basic Sensor Test sequence?
Confirm the part number and connection definition, place the sensor on an insulating surface, connect the FPC and controller in the specified order, run the approved Sensor Test, record the result, and repeat testing after final assembly.

PCAP engineeringWhy does a PCAP touchscreen show ghost touches after installation?
A sensor that works before assembly may react to LCD noise, grounding, metalwork, FPC routing or controller settings after installation. The complete enclosure and electrical system should be checked before the sensor is classified as defective.
PCAP engineeringWhy does edge touch stop working after installing the touchscreen into the enclosure?
A thick front bezel or small enclosure opening can prevent a finger from covering enough of the edge or corner. Mechanical tolerances and UI controls near the boundary should be checked with the final housing.
Why is a touchscreen not responding?
Check power, cable and connector orientation, PIN definition, controller recognition, operating-system input support and grounding before classifying the sensor as defective. Compare a bare-sensor test with the assembled-system result to isolate the failure stage.
What can cause skipping, lagging or unstable touch points?
Common causes include electrical noise, poor or changing grounding, LCD coupling, unstable FPC routing, loose connections, metal proximity or controller settings that do not match the final stack. Diagnose the complete system under its normal power and enclosure conditions.
