What a controlled touch-display specification contains
A verified EverGlory 15.6-inch PCAP touch display reference shows how an approved concept is converted into a manufacturable, reviewable package. It documents the module rather than relying on a marketing illustration.
Mechanical definition
Cover-lens outline, active and viewing areas, LCD envelope, total stack-up, FPC position, connectors and tolerances.
Touch and display baseline
Touch points, controller interface, supply, report rate, response, resolution, luminance, contrast and optical requirements.
Validation definition
Functional, material, environmental, thermal-shock, ESD, FPC-pull, impact and appearance-verification items.
Production handoff
Controlled drawing, specification revision, inspection criteria, handling instructions and project-specific approval records.
Design capability evidence: the reference module includes a 380.56 × 229.99 mm cover lens, a 1920 × 1080 TFT LCD, 10-point USB PCAP touch and a documented 12.7 mm module stack. Final values remain project-specific.
Management systems and controlled-document evidence
The engineering workflow is supported by current management-system certificates, controlled drawings, product specifications and approved engineering changes. Each item is used only within its stated scope.
IATF 16949:2016
The certified scope covers the design and manufacture of capacitive touch screens.
Valid through November 6, 2026
Current certificate or recertification status should be reconfirmed during supplier approval.
ISO 9001:2015
The certified scope covers R&D, production and sales of capacitive touch screens, plus production and sales of glass cover plates.
Valid through May 18, 2028
ISO 14001:2015
The certified scope covers the environmental-management activities associated with the same touch-screen and cover-glass operations.
Valid through February 2, 2029
Controlled release and change
Multi-size engineering drawings and English product specifications support release control. A verified 2026 ECN records a traceability-label material upgrade with release, effective date and approvals.
Evidence boundary: management-system certification supports the documented process and certified activity scope; it is not a blanket product certification. Product performance remains tied to the applicable drawing, report and tested configuration.
Send the application, drawing and required records so the review starts with the correct scope.
Frequently asked questions
What information should we provide for an OEM touch-display project?
Provide the application, operating environment, target dimensions, mounting method, touch and display interfaces, cover-glass requirements, expected validation items and any applicable compliance requirements.
Can EverGlory work from an existing customer drawing?
Yes. Engineering reviews the drawing for mechanical stack-up, active and viewing areas, FPC routing, interface compatibility, grounding, bonding and manufacturing risks before the configuration is frozen.
When does a project move from sample to mass production?
After the sample configuration is approved, validation issues are closed, the drawing and specification are released, and the pilot build confirms production readiness.

Controlled outputs before sample and production release
Engineering capability is made reviewable through released drawings, specifications, validation records and production-control gates.
| Release gate | Available evidence | Buyer decision supported | Boundary |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mechanical and electrical baseline | 10.1-inch PCAP drawing EG-SY-10.1-A-1609V1 and a 15.6-inch PCAP touch-display specification set | Cutout, viewing/active area, stack, FPC/controller location, interfaces and tolerances | Final project drawing requires revision approval. |
| Sample definition | Quoted BOM, controller, LCD, bonding route, cable, cover glass and firmware baseline | Confirms what will be built and tested | Options outside the approved baseline require a new scope review. |
| Validation release | Test matrix linking condition, method, acceptance limit, sample and record identifier | Separates verified results from design targets and test capability | Only completed, matching records support pass claims. |
| Production transfer | WI-QC-015-001 touch-panel controls and WI-QC-015-003 optical-bonding controls | FAI, in-process, functional, final-inspection and packaging evidence route | Customer-facing records are redacted and matched to the applicable lot. |

Engineering FAQ
OEM Touchscreen Validation FAQ
A production-ready touchscreen must be checked at component, assembly and complete-system levels.
Should a PCAP touchscreen be tested again after installation?
Yes. A standalone incoming Sensor Test confirms the touch component before assembly, but it cannot reproduce the LCD, enclosure, grounding, power and cable conditions of the finished device.
After assembly, run a complete-system Sensor Test and functional test across the active area, edges and corners. Review any unstable points, broken response or false touches before controller tuning. Once the tuning and mechanical design are stable, repeat validation with pilot or pre-mass-production units so the tested configuration matches the intended build.
EverGlory engineering view: We validate the touchscreen as part of the complete system, not only as an isolated component.
Should the touchscreen be retested if the motherboard changes?
Yes. A motherboard change can alter grounding, power characteristics, electrical noise and the EMI environment even when the touchscreen, LCD and enclosure remain unchanged.
Rerun the complete Sensor Test and system validation with the new motherboard, then check the touch-controller configuration. Confirm full-area touch, edge response and stability under the intended operating conditions. If the electrical environment has changed, the previous tuning may no longer be the correct production setting.
Integration Tip: Evaluate the full system again before mass production or approving the motherboard change for an existing build.

Outdoor PCAP Validation FAQ
A practical validation sequence for outdoor, wet-touch and wash-down PCAP systems before mass production.
What should be validated before mass production for an outdoor or wash-down PCAP system?
The final assembled system is the most important validation environment. Before mass production, define exposure to outdoor use, rain, wash-down, wet fingers, standing water, humidity and temperature changes.
Review the mechanical design: flush versus recessed construction, bezel geometry, drainage, enclosure opening, water accumulation and nearby metal. Confirm the touch stack: cover glass, PCAP sensor, controller, AF/AS treatment, LCD and optical bonding or air gap. Check grounding, FPC routing, motherboard behavior and electrical noise.
Recommended sequence: standalone touchscreen test; LCD integration; enclosure assembly; Sensor Test; functional touch test; wet-condition test; controller and system tuning; pilot validation; and pre-mass-production confirmation.
Engineering Note: Freeze drawings, controller settings and test conditions only after the production-representative assembly passes the agreed validation.
